My interest in art began when I was around six years of age, using mainly pencil and ink. I've continued drawing all of my life and have won several awards for my sketches.

Having many interests, including furniture making, poetry and the love of creating, I continued searching for my life's destiny.

I enrolled in many art courses to further my art, but was unable to find a teacher who inspired me for what I needed until I met well known artist Donald James Waters. His teaching was what I was seeking. Don guided me to produce more exciting paintings, combining my own ideas with the techniques he taught.

Now I am finally able to indulge myself in the joy of painting. I am consumed by the impact of fine art on society and more personally, the human soul. In finding my own direction and style as an original Australian artist I am continually reaching for my goal to create a masterpiece.

I held my first exhibition at the Springwood Hotel in 2001 selling 20 paintings in two days, and I've held several exhibitions since, at Springwood Towers Apartment Hotel and Graceville Gallery. All exhibitions have been successful.

I enjoy life and working with movement and colour to create fine art. My dream is to have my paintings hung in galleries throughout Australia and even worldwide.
